Load Leveling Suspension

Load leveling suspension is proposed to control the roll angle of the 3-wheeler

The idea of the load leveling suspension is that the bottom of the spring can move up and down. Unlike conventional active suspension which control the damper's force, this method manipulate the spring's force by adjusting the bottom of the spring as shown in the figure that the controller is attached to the spring.

Such system can then be applied to the half car model as the conventional active suspension to control either the roll dynamics or the pitch dynamics.

Application can be found in Three-Wheel Vehicle VS Four-Wheel Vehicle.
